postheadericon A Little Change At A Time

WRITTEN BY: Stephanie Lamb My career of being a Medical Transcriptionist. That sounds really nice. Especially for a stay-at home mom of three. What a great change that would be for me. I am 31 years old. I have made some mistakes in my life. Dropping out of college 11 years ago was one of them. I realize my mistakes now. I haven’t had many opportunities to go back to college. I was majoring in Criminal Justice. That was my passion. All of that changed when I was told my 5 year old twin boys were Autistic. I was devastated after hearing the news. After that my interests went to the medical field. Of course I just can’t go to be a Dr. I can start off somewhere in the medical field. Being a Medical Transcriptionist will get my foot in the door. It may lead me to other opportunities in the Medical field. Also, having Autistic children is isn’t cheap.

They have special needs I have to accommodate for. I can’t just go get a job. My twins go to school in life skills classes but it doesn’t allow me to be able to work. I couldn’t just stick them in any daycare. I have to be able to my jobs typing work home with them when they are sick or out of school or whatever their need may be. I need a job that gives me the freedom I need to be with my boys. I also have a 10 year old little girl that needs me around. She is very smart and is in many activities. This would allow me to be with her and to see her every achievement. Also, My husband’s job pays very little and he is always gone. My being able to work at home will help the whole family. We won’t just be barely over the water but living comfortable. I will still have time for my family’s needs. Medical transcription jobs will also be something I enjoy and not just a job that I have to do. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

By researching this company I have read many advantages to my career goals. The many scholarships it offers is exceptional. It has every class I need to get my MT career going. This school has excellent reviews and many people have recommended Future MT. They seem to be very happy with the results. I would like to become a medical transcriptionist and be a part of the big medical industry. I know it’s just a step in the medical door but I will push my way through and excel into something bigger. In 10 years I might have solved a big part of the Autism puzzle. I might go into Genealogy, behavior science, neurology there’s no limit to what might accomplish! I’m very strong willed and ready for any challenge that may come my way. I would love the opportunity to become a medical transcriptionist. I have the time for the online classes. I am home all day with no interruptions. My kids all go to school until 3pm. I am very good at meeting deadlines. Having deadlines is a motivator for me. If you give me this scholarship I know you will be pleased with my performance and loyalty to sticking with my educational goals.

postheadericon There’s Money to Improve Your Future: Obama Scholarships for Moms

There are some bright spots that should encourage you to look to the future even though the US economy is going through some tough time right now. By offering Obama scholarships for moms, the government is encouraging women to go to college. Mothers of all types have the chance to get a quality education that will no doubt benefit their families and future employers.

Federal Pell Grants make Obama scholarships possible. To encourage more moms to go back to school, President Obama and the government made some changes to these grants. Pell Grants worth more than $5,000 can now be awarded. That makes these grants worth more than $1,000 over the previous maximum. In many cases single mothers would be low-income students, and that’s who these grants are intended to help. For this reason, the government is encouraging moms to go back to school. Both moms who work and stay-at-home moms could benefit from having money to help them go to college.

These grants have other benefits to add incentive for moms to enroll in college. It’s typical of many students to go to large colleges and universities. Many single mothers have been prevented from going to college because this wasn’t an option for them. The Pell Grant, however, takes this situation into account. Whether a working mom wants to attend college part-time or a stay-at-home mom wants to take online courses, these specially targeted grants make it possible. Education, nursing, business and more are all options. It doesn’t matter what you want to study. Single mothers now have more opportunity to study, and this is the important part.

If you’re a single mom, an Obama Scholarship may be the break you need to start on a different path. There are only a few simple steps to help look into applying for a scholarship. First, you have to fill out the online application for federal student aid called the FAFSA. It’s free to fill out the application, plus you can learn plenty of information about aid that is available to you. Remember this: the American Opportunity Tax Credit program says the first $4,000 of your education is free. When you weigh your options, consider this as well as the possibility of getting a grant.

Single moms who work or stay-at-home have a wonderful chance to attend college and advance their education. The objective of the government grants and free opportunities is to help moms take better care of their families and increase their earning potential as members of the workforce. Obama scholarships are meant to give women the opportunity to improve their own future and that of their family.

When it goes about studying in college you always need to spend a lot of efforts on writing your research papers, term papers or essays. Sometimes, however, you may lack time to make a research and complete your paper in time and having it well-written. In such cases, writing companies may help.

postheadericon Testing For Kindergarten Review

Before you go out and buy expensive IQ test prep materials from companies such as Aristotle Circle, Bright Kids NYC, or Kindergarten Test Study System, you might want to take a look at Testing For Kindergarten, by Karen Quinn, which, at $15, seems practically free compared to some of these costly products.

In Testing For Kindergarten, Quinn talks about the intelligence testing and how it only covers the kind of intelligence you need for school success, not life success.

The author covers all the different types of tests your child may take for kindergarten, whether it is for private school admissions, gifted and talented or GATE qualification, or testing for placement in slow, average, and advanced public school ability groups.

In the book, Quinn takes you through the six most common IQ tests section-by-section (the OLSAT, WPPSI-III or ERB, Stanford Binet, Woodcock-Johnson test, Bracken Basic Concept Scale, and Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children). She talks about what to expect when your child is tested and how to get him ready without stressing out everyone in the family.

The most important “aha” in the book is the breakdown of the 7-abilities every IQ test covers – language, knowledge, memory, math, cognitive, visual-spatial, and fine motor skills. Once you understand these abilities, you can instill them in your child in natural and fun ways that take no extra time on your part. Quinn gives you a recipe for how to do that.

The author talks about how to get your child into the best private schools, gifted or GATE programs, charter or magnet school. As a former admissions advisor, she shares tricks of the trade to help your child stand out, but also tells you how to evaluate for yourself which program is the best fit for your child and family.

Finally, the author covers what to do if your child doesn’t test well or has learning issues and how you can access free help from your school district for that.

All of this information is yours for just $15. IQ test prep materials can cost as much as $500. This book is a great place to start before you invest in any do-it-yourself test prep product.

postheadericon World War Two Weapons Including Rifles and Gatlin Machine Guns

WWII Weapons: As the war developed, so did the weapons used throughout it. From the straight forward rifle, right down to the development of the nuclear bomb, weapons were developed to try to gain an advantage over the opposition.

The Second World War is normally credited for bringing into being the stable version of the hand held machine gun. While used in the World War I, the machine gun, otherwise known as the Gatlin gun, was very inaccurate and couldn’t be moved about. Yet with the need for development in World War II, machine guns were manufactured smaller and the creation of submachine guns meant that they could be carried by even infantry troops. During that time most of the soldiers started toting the new submachine guns.

Another weapons development in world war 2 were the infamous V1 and V2 rockets. The V1 was more commonly referred to as the Doodlebug. It was the first ever guided missile and was fired with the aid of ramps from Germany in 1944 and 1945. Developed by the German Luftwaffe, these “vengeance” weapons were feared throughout the entirety of the blitz. Not only were these the first pilot less missiles to be created, they had an sound mechanism on them that made them make a high pitched noise as it dropped from the sky so civilians knew when one was coming. The V2 rocket was later created and did not require the large ramps to launch from. These are far more like the heavy guided missiles we have today, launching from a standing up position and are accredited for the first steps of putting a man on the moon.

The final most significant weapon development of World War 2 was the nuclear bomb, created by the USA and dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This is normally referred to as the weapon that ended the war. Bombs were used in great numbers throughout the 6 years, yet none of them were anywhere near as powerful as the atomic bomb that the USA used. People to this day still argue whether or not it was ethically correct to have even used it to end the war, yet it accomplished its purpose and goes to show how far technology can advance through times of war. The bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki caused some of the worst combined casualties in any of the world wars. The shear numbers that died in the hundreds of thousands.
